About the role
As an IT Support Specialist at SkyNRG, you will play a crucial role in our IT team, ensuring colleagues can work efficiently from anywhere. We are actively seeking someone with previous IT helpdesk experience and a strong background in Service Management, specifically incident management, to be the first point of contact for IT queries and ensure our IT systems run smoothly. While the focus is currently on the digital workplace, new platforms for CRM, HRIS, and others will soon be included.
Your tasks will involve providing technical and functional support, manning the SkyNRG IT Helpdesk, assisting with new IT implementations, expanding our technology infrastructure, maintaining data control, and ensuring strong IT security. You will manage daily IT operations, support SkyNRG’s global team, and contribute to various improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support for employees and resolve issues promptly.
- Take a hands-on approach to setting up and maintaining IT devices, such as conferencing tools, workplace peripherals and some network devices.
- Manage access to SharePoint, Teams, and other enterprise applications.
- Administer the SkyNRG Helpdesk system (e.g., Jira/ServiceNow).
- Support the integration of new platforms, including CRM and HRIS, within the existing IT landscape.
- Manage software/tooling requests and maintain IT performance, ensuring data security.
Your profile
As a growing company in a rapidly developing industry, we are looking for someone who likes to play an active role in operationally supporting our business and is not afraid of change. Ideally, you recognise yourself in the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT support, with a strong emphasis on 1st level operational support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Demonstrable experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, such as Jira or ServiceNow, with a focus on incident management and service management.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 (preferably E5) in a medium-sized, international company.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Nice to haves:
- Experience managing Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Microsoft 365 certifications such as Administrator Expert, Endpoint Administrator Associate or Teams Administrator Associate.
Soft Skills:
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn recent technologies.
- An organized and structured approach to managing tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support colleagues with varying levels of IT knowledge.
