About the role
As the Deal Team Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in closing long-term commercial deals to support SkyNRG’s capacity development projects. Working closely with the Deal Team (Commercial Analyst and Commercial Manager), the Legal Counsel, and other key stakeholders, you will drive the commercial negotiation processes and lead discussions for high-value agreements with major airlines and other partners. You’ll be part of the full deal cycle, from origination and business development to signing the final deal.
This role requires you to manage interactions, develop materials for negotiations, and ensure seamless communication across internal and external teams.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Lead Commercial Negotiations: Drive negotiation processes for complex, high-value contracts, including off-take agreements and Heads of Terms (HoTs).
- Manage Interactions with Stakeholders: Handle daily communications with potential off-takers, project team members, advisors, and other relevant parties.
- Produce Key Materials: Develop presentations, financial models, and other documentation needed for negotiations and commercial processes.
- Support development of contracts: Assist in converting commercial agreements into legally binding documents in collaboration with the legal team.
- Project Involvement: Lead or support key initiatives such as closing HoTs, Finalizing MoUs, Managing by-product sales off-take agreements and supporting third-party capacity projects and M&A activities for vertical integration.
Your profile
We are seeking candidates with a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or any other relevant degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Preferably within consulting, investment baking, or an commercial environment with complex and high-value structures. You should be very comfortable with both Excel and PowerPoint while being a natural project and stakeholder manager.
Key qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, M&A, or commercial contracting.
- Advanced skills in financial modelling (primarily Excel).
- Experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
- Understanding the dynamics of commercial, bankability, legal and technical project requirements
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership at large corporations.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating presentation materials.
- Experience working in an international environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in aviation, fuel, or energy sectors.
- Clear ambition to work in renewables and sustainable development.
- Interest in and understanding of complex commercial structures.
