Business Development Analyst

We are seeking a Business Development Analyst who excels in financial storytelling and presentation. This role will play a crucial part in communicating investment opportunities to stakeholders, supporting SkyNRG’s growth through financial data analysis and compelling investor presentations. The ideal candidate is an expert in PowerPoint, financial modeling, and crafting persuasive narratives that drive funding and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop investment narratives by translating financial data into compelling stories for investors.
- Design and structure high-impact presentations using advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support investment and business development decisions.
- Work closely with executives to align financial communications with business strategy.
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and investor materials to ensure clear and persuasive financial storytelling.
- Support market research and business intelligence efforts to identify strategic opportunities.
Your profile
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5+ years in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or related field.
- Expertise in PowerPoint: Proven ability to design, structure, and deliver persuasive financial presentations.
- Strong financial modeling skills: Experience in creating robust forecasts, investment analyses, and market assessments; Expertise in Excel, financial analysis software, and valuation techniques.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills: Ability to craft compelling financial stories tailored for investor audiences.
- Analytical mindset: Skilled in interpreting complex financial data and translating insights into business strategy.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into compelling narratives for investors and stakeholders.
- Market & Investment Analysis – Understanding of industry trends, financial statements, and investment strategies
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of clean energy or aviation industries. Bonus points for strong background in clean energy, aviation, or infrastructure finance.
- A Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Finance) can be beneficial, especially for candidates aiming to work closely with investors and executive leadership.
- Coursework in financial modeling, corporate finance, investment analysis, and business communication.
- Experience in investor relations, business development, or financial storytelling.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Expected compensation
The anticipated pay range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. Please note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.
Location:
This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere within the United States. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated, professional workspace are required. Travel to the Bend, Oregon office is expected of the individual multiple times a year, with additional business-related travel to Amsterdam, and other relevant locations. All company related travel expenses are paid by the company.
