Internship Overview
The IT intern will support the IT team in maintaining and improving technology operations. They will gain exposure to day-to-day IT processes and projects, working alongside IT specialists to develop skills in systems management, support, and technology-driven initiatives, while contributing to the team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and deactivation.
- Provide basic technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Help with ticket triage, device checks, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Support projects aimed at automating user lifecycle workflows and improving cybersecurity incident reporting.
- Document processes and contribute to knowledge base updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Students MUST be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship.
- Strong interest in IT operations and willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in Python, PowerShell, JSON
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
- Available for a 6-month period starting in January or February.
Learning Outcomes
- Hands-on experience in IT operations, including user management and technical support.
- Exposure to IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of backup strategies, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity basics.
- Practical knowledge of workflow automation and incident reporting processes.
- Development of professional communication and collaboration skills in an IT environment.
- Internship allowance & daily healthy lunch at our Amsterdam office
Duration and Commitment
- Full/Part Time Internship
- 24-40 hours per week
- Onsite, Amsterdam Office
